My House Captain Speech For those who don't know me, my name is Niamh and I'm running for Diamond house captain. I'd be so proud to represent Diamond and I'd be honoured and love to have that opportunity. I believe that this is the year that Diamond can get to the beach (if we can due to covid). I don't just want to be your house captain, I also want to be your friend, so I'll tell you a bit about me: My favourite subjects in school are writing and music; I really enjoy acting and musical theatre, I've been doing acting since P3, and I love it! I also play football; I've played for almost 2 years now. I believe the role of house captain is more than just a badge and a title. It means being a good leader and representative of the school, respecting your friends and peers, being trustworthy, and having pride in our school community. I'd meet the challenge of being a house captain, but I would approach it with in enthusiasm and determination, an open mind, and everyone's best interests at heart. I think I'd be a good house captain because I'm a confident, well-mannered and approachable student. I'm good with responsibility, a strong leader and easy to work with. I'm...
