Rhee elected president - • North militarises, south. Besnit 1949 -China becomes communist, Supports North Early 1950 -North invades south (June) INFOR to recognite china being heaply coming and Stall supported them. - USSR wanked china to join UN, US veroed decision + impacts. Impacts! the 2 sides had different beliefs. which caused tension similar to east & west Germany impacts! Both nations tried to spread ther influence over the whole country, causing more tension Impacts North militarising may increase Pensions on USA side as their influence over South will weaken. Impacts confirms that Stalin was using china to spread communism in South-east Asia Impacts Stalin would've been angry as - the UN was acting against him. and his intentions. September 1950 UN troops entered South, US under general. October 1960 China threatens to attack if MacArthur continues. north MacArthur pushes to the yalu river China invades North and MacArthur is pushed back to 38th parallel 1 mainly MacArthur North was pushed back 4 April 19511 MacArthur Fired for going against president Truman's orders. Impacts wow live made USSR and ching angry Stalin dies - Armistice signed (July) - 1962 -Fighting ends as original. Jeaders have either died of left power Truman replaced by Eisenhower impacts -chinese threats and MacArthur defying creates more tension.
