Comparing fractions & decimals One way to compare a fraction to a decimal is to convert the fraction into a decimal first, So that we can compare decimal to decimal. Say we want to find out of 105 or 1/11 is Greater. First, we need to stack by converting into a decimal. We can do that by clividing the numerator by the denominator numerator b We will divide (a by 110÷ 6=11054 NOW denominator that both numbers are 54 decimals we can see that 6/11 is Less Than 45. < 65 or 154 < 65
