it offers a way to reach enlightenment without having to live especially good lives, meditating or enduring long rituals

chanting the name of amitabha buddha with total concentration
what is the concept of the dhamma?
it refers to buddhas teachings and that buddha was a holy man and a teacher who achieved enlightenment

illness, old age, death, holy man

siddhartha
what was so special about siddharthas birth?
his mother (Queen Maya) suffered no pain and he had the ability to walk and talk as soon as he was born
what did siddhartha say as soon as he was born?
‘ i was born to end suffering and reach enlightenment’
why did siddhartha live a life of luxury?
because he was unaware of the illness, old age, death (four sights) and suffering as he was shielded from these in the palace
after siddhartha left the palace who did he encounter?
