C ↳ a ratio is comparing two numbers to each ex: 11 Box A ) 2 4 5 6 1 2 Box B₁ 3 4 7 5 8 6 9 What is the ratio of Box A to Box B? 1) Count the number of squares in each box Box A: 6 Box 13: 9 27 Put each number into a ratio (in A: Bform) 6:9 I while this is correct, it's not simplified 3) Simplify by dividing by GCF 6:9 33 12:3 Box A₁ 1 2 4 3 5 6 Box B₁ 789 S 10 17 13 14 15 What is the ratio of total bones to the boxes in Box A? 1) Count number of totul boxes. 15 boxes in total 2) Count number of boxes in Box A 6 boxes in Box A 3) Put values in ratio (form A:13) (³ IB would equal totul number of boxes 6:15! ↳ the ratio is correct, but it isn't simplified! 4) Simplify by dividing by GCF 5:15 12:51 33
