比較級・最上級の基本ルール
日常会話で「AはBより背が高い」とか「これが一番美味しい」って言うことあるよね？英語でもまったく同じことができるんだ。
比較級は2つのものを比べるときに使って、形容詞に**-erをつけるか、前にmoreをつける。「〜より」という意味のthan**と一緒に使うのが基本パターンだよ。
最上級は3つ以上の中で一番を表すときに使って、形容詞に**-estをつけるか、前にmostをつける。前には必ずtheをつけて、inやof**と組み合わせることが多いんだ。
覚えておこう！ 短い単語は-er/-est、長い単語はmore/mostを使うのが基本。でも例外もあるから、使いながら覚えていこう！
比較級の作り方と使い方
実は比較級って、単語の長さや終わり方によってルールが変わるんだ。でも慌てなくて大丈夫、パターンは決まってるからね！
短い単語（tall、fast）はそのまま**-erをつけるだけ。「My brother is taller than me」みたいに使うよ。eで終わる単語（large、nice）は-r**だけ追加すればOK。
ちょっと特殊なのは、big→bigger、hot→hotterみたいに最後の文字を重ねるパターンと、easy→easier、busy→busierみたいにyをiに変えるパターン。
長い単語（beautiful、difficult）は前にmoreをつけるだけ。「This flower is more beautiful than that one」って感じで使うんだ。
注意！ moreを使うときは、単語の後ろに-erはつけちゃダメ。more beautifulerは完全に間違いだからね！
最上級の作り方と使い方
最上級は比較級のルールとほとんど同じだから、もう半分覚えたようなもの！-erが-estになって、moreがmostになるだけなんだ。
短い単語はtall→the tallest、long→the longest。eで終わる単語はlarge→the largest。特殊変化はbig→the biggest、easy→the easiestって感じ。
長い単語は前にmostをつけて、beautiful→the most beautiful、difficult→the most difficult。どのパターンでも前にtheをつけるのを絶対忘れちゃダメ！
「Ken is the tallest in his class」や「Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan」みたいに、in（場所・グループ）やof（具体的なもの）と組み合わせて使うのが基本パターンだよ。
超重要！ 最上級の前のtheは絶対に忘れちゃダメ。これがないと文法的に間違いになっちゃうからね！
不規則変化と同等比較
ここが一番テストに出るところ！good→better→best、bad→worse→worst、many/much→more→mostは絶対に暗記しよう。
「I like summer better than winter」や「He is the best soccer player in our team」みたいに、日常会話でもめちゃくちゃ使うフレーズばかりだよ。
「同じくらい〜」って言いたいときはas...asを使うんだ。「I am as tall as my father」（父と同じくらいの背の高さ）って感じで、asとasの間には必ず原級（元の形）を入れる。
否定文だと「She is not as old as Ken」（ケンほど年をとっていない）になって、最初のasはsoに変えてもOKなんだ。
テストのコツ！ as...asの間は絶対に原級！as taller asみたいに-erをつけたら即バツだから気をつけて！
実践例文とテストポイント
実際にどう使うか例文で確認してみよう。比較級なら「My dog runs faster than your dog」、最上級なら「She is the youngest student in our school」って感じ。
同等比較は「He can speak English as well as his teacher」や否定で「This room is not as large as that one」みたいに使えるよ。日常会話でもよく使うパターンばかりだから、口に出して練習してみて！
テストで絶対チェックされるのは、比較級のthan、最上級のthe、as...asの間の原級、そして不規則変化の暗記。特にgood-better-bestは100%出るから完璧にしておこう。
最上級の後のinとofの使い分けも重要で、inは場所やグループ（in my class）、ofは具体的なもの（of the three）って覚えておけば大丈夫！
