比較級・最上級の基本とルール
英語で何かを比べるときは、主に3つのパターンがあるよ。原級（同じくらい）、比較級（〜より）、最上級（一番）の3つだ。
覚えるポイントは、比較級にはthan、最上級にはtheがつくこと。これを忘れるとテストでバツになっちゃうから注意して。
形容詞や副詞の変化も大事。短い単語は語尾に-erや-estをつけて、長い単語はmoreやmostを前につける。このルールを覚えれば、もう怖くない！
覚えよう！ 比較級=than、最上級=the これだけでも点数アップ間違いなし
比較級の作り方と使い方
比較級は2つのものを比べるときに使うよ。「AはBより〜だ」っていう感じ。
短い単語（1〜2音節）は語尾に**-erをつける。tall → taller、fast → fasterみたいに。長い単語（3音節以上）は前にmore**をつけるだけ。beautiful → more beautifulって具合だね。
不規則変化もあるから要注意。good → better、bad → worse、many/much → moreは絶対覚えて。文の形は「A + be動詞 + 比較級 + than + B」。Ken is taller than Tom.みたいに使うよ。
スペル変化にも気をつけて。big → bigger（子音を重ねる）、easy → easier（yをiに変える）、large → larger（eで終わるときはrだけ）。
要チェック！ famous は短いけどmore famousになるよ。例外もあるから注意
最上級と原級の使い方
最上級は3つ以上の中で「一番」を決めるときに使う。作り方は比較級と似てて、短い単語は-est、長い単語はmostをつけるだけ。
文の形は「A + be動詞 + the + 最上級 + in/of + B」。inは場所や範囲（in my class, in Japan）、ofは具体的な数（of the three, of all students）で使い分けよう。
原級は「〜と同じくらい」を表す。as + 形容詞/副詞の原級 + asの形で、Ken is as tall as Tom.って感じ。否定文のnot as... asは「〜ほど...ではない」って意味になって、これは比較級への書き換え問題でよく出るから覚えておこう。
ポイント！ 最上級のtheを忘れたり、asとasの間にtallerみたいな比較級を入れるのは絶対NG
実践練習と間違えやすいポイント
例文で練習してみよう。oldを使うと、「My sister is as old as you（姉はあなたと同い年）」「My grandfather is older than my grandmother（祖父は祖母より年上）」「My grandfather is the oldest in my family（祖父が家族で一番年上）」みたいになる。
goodの不規則変化も要チェック。good → better → bestで、「I can't play tennis as well as Emi（エミほどテニスが上手じゃない）」「She is the best tennis player in our school（彼女が学校一のテニス選手）」って使えるよ。
テストでよくある間違いは、最上級のthe忘れ、比較級のthan忘れ、more tallerみたいな二重表現。あと、as taller asみたいにasの間に比較級を入れるのもダメ。
テスト対策！ good-better-best、bad-worse-worstの不規則変化は暗記必須
まとめ：これだけは絶対覚えよう
