Majstrovstvo časov: Použitie a príklady

Základ - čo vlastne znamenajú tie časy
Predstav si, že časy sú ako fotoaparát - môžeš urobiť rýchly snímok alebo natočiť video, môžeš zachytiť moment alebo ukázať, ako sa niečo vyvíjalo. Aspekt ti hovorí, ako sa na dej pozeráš, nie len kedy sa stal.
Jednoduchý (Simple) používaš pre fakty a dokončené akcie. Priebehový (Continuous) pre niečo, co prebieha alebo je dočasné. Predprítomný (Perfect) keď je dej dokončený, ale má súvislosť s terajškom.
Pomocné slovesá ako do, be, have a will sú tvoji najlepší kamaráti - bez nich sa časy nedajú urobiť. Sú to takí "pomocníci", ktorí robia všetku tú gramatickú prácu za teba.
Tip: Stavové slovesá ako know, love, want sa nepoužívajú v Continuous - vyjadrujú stav, nie akciu!
Prítomné časy - čo sa deje teraz a okolo toho
Present Simple používaš pre fakty a zvyky. "I usually walk to school" alebo "The Sun rises in the east." V tretej osobe pridávaš -s/-es.
Present Continuous je pre to, čo robíš práve teraz alebo dočasne. "I am writing notes right now" alebo "He is living with his aunt this month." Pozor - môžeš ho použiť aj pre dohodnuté plány!
Present Perfect Simple je tricky - použiješ ho, keď je dej dokončený, ale výsledok je dôležitý teraz. "I have lost my keys" znamená, že ich teraz nemáš. Tiež pre skúsenosti s ever/never a deje trvajúce dodnes s for/since.
Pozor: S just, already, yet vždy Present Perfect! "I have just finished" nie "I just finished."
Present Perfect Continuous a rozdiel, ktorý musíš pochopiť
Present Perfect Continuous je o trvaní a príčinách. "I have been studying for three hours" - stále študuješ a je to unavujúce. "Her eyes are red because she has been crying" - už neplače, ale vidno dôkazy.
Rozdiel medzi Perfect Simple a Continuous je kľúčový. Simple zdôrazňuje výsledok - "I have read that book" (mám prečítané). Continuous zdôrazňuje trvanie - "I have been reading for an hour" (stále čítam alebo som unavený).
S "how many/much" používaj Simple, s "how long" používaj Continuous. To ti pomôže v testoch!
Pamätaj si: Perfect Continuous často vysvetľuje, prečo je niekto unavený, spotený alebo má iný viditeľný výsledok.
Minulé časy - keď sa veci stali predtým
Past Simple je jednoduchý - dokončený dej v konkrétnom čase. "I went to cinema yesterday." Pre otázky a zápory používaš "did."
Past Continuous je pre deje, ktoré prebiehali v určitom momente. "At 7 PM yesterday, I was having dinner." Super je na kombinácie - "I was reading when my phone rang."
Past Perfect Simple je "minulosť minulosti" - niečo sa stalo pred niečím iným v minulosti. "I had already eaten when they arrived." Najprv jedenie, potom príchod hostí.
Časová os ti pomôže: Past Perfect sa stal PRED Past Simple - ako dva body na čiare, kde jeden je skôr ako druhý.
Ešte zložitejšie minulé časy a budúcnosť
Past Perfect Continuous zdôrazňuje, že niečo trvalo až do určitého momentu. "I had been waiting for an hour before the bus came" - čakal si dlho a potom konečne prišiel autobus.
Future Simple (will) je pre spontánne rozhodnutia a predpovede. "I'll have coffee" alebo "I think it will rain."
Be going to je pre plány a predpovede s dôkazmi. "I'm going to visit grandparents" (už si to naplánoval) alebo "It's going to rain" (vidíš mraky).
Rozdiel: Will = spontánne, going to = naplánované!
Pokročilé budúce časy
Future Continuous je pre deje, ktoré budú prebiehať v určitom momente. "This time tomorrow, I will be taking my exam" - o tomto čase zajtra budeš robiť skúšku.
Future Perfect Simple hovorí, že niečo bude dokončené pred určitým momentom. "By next year, I will have graduated" - do budúceho roka už budeš mať zmaturované.
Future Perfect Continuous kombinuje obe - niečo bude trvať až do určitého momentu s dôrazom na trvanie. "By 5 o'clock, I will have been writing for two hours."
Tip: Slová ako "by next year" a "this time tomorrow" ti napovedajú, ktorý čas použiť!
Podmienkové vety - keď sa časy spoja
Toto je výborný príklad pokročilého použitia časov! Každý typ má svoje pravidlá.
Type 1 (reálne): If + Present Simple, will + Verb. "If I study hard, I will pass." Type 2 (nereálne teraz): If + Past Simple, would + Verb. "If I had money, I would buy a laptop." Type 3 (nereálne v minulosti): If + Past Perfect, would have + V3. "If I had studied, I would have passed."
Príklad s unavou: "She has been crying" (Perfect Continuous) vysvetľuje červené oči lepšie ako "She has cried" (Perfect Simple).
Kontext je kráľ: Vždy premýšľaj, či chceš zdôrazniť výsledok, trvanie alebo poradie udalostí.
Časové výrazy - tvoji najlepší pomocníci
Časové výrazy ti prozradia, ktorý čas použiť! Present Simple má always, usually, often. Present Continuous má now, right now, at the moment. Present Perfect má for, since, already, yet, just.
Minulé časy: Past Simple má yesterday, last week, ago. Past Continuous má while, when, at specific time. Past Perfect má before, after, by the time.
Budúce časy: Future má tomorrow, next week, soon. Future Perfect má by next year, in two years' time.
Nepravidelné slovesá: Bez nich to nepôjde - musíš ich vedieť naspamäť!
Rýchle zhrnutie na záver
Prítomné časy: Simple pre fakty a zvyky, Continuous pre priebeh, Perfect Simple pre výsledok, Perfect Continuous pre trvanie.
Minulé časy: Simple pre dokončené deje, Continuous pre priebeh v minulosti, Perfect Simple pre "minulosť minulosti," Perfect Continuous pre dlhé trvanie.

This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! Knowunity is the BEST app I’ve used in a minute. This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. I love it and my mom is just happy I got good grades

The app's just great! All I have to do is enter the topic in the search bar and I get the response real fast. I don't have to watch 10 YouTube videos to understand something, so I'm saving my time. Highly recommended!

I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
