Předpřítomný čas a jeho tvoření
Předpřítomný čas používáme, když chceme mluvit o události, která má souvislost s přítomností. V češtině nemáme přímý ekvivalent, proto je někdy těžké ho pochopit.
Tvoří se pomocí pomocného slovesa have/has a příčestí minulého (past participle). Pro osoby I, you, we, they používáme have, zatímco pro he, she, it používáme has.
V běžné konverzaci často uslyšíš zkrácené tvary jako I've, she's, we've - to je úplně normální a používá se to častěji než plné tvary.
💡 Tip pro zapamatování: Představ si předpřítomný čas jako most mezi minulostí a přítomností. Něco se stalo v minulosti, ale pořád to má vliv na teď.
Signální slova a použití
Existují slova, která ti pomůžou poznat, že máš použít předpřítomný čas. Patří mezi ně already (již), ever (někdy), just (právě), never (nikdy), not yet (ještě ne), so far (dosud) a další.
Předpřítomný čas má několik hlavních použití. Používáme ho, když je důležitý výsledek děje a ne kdy přesně k němu došlo. Například: "I have cleaned my room." (Uklidil jsem si pokoj.)
Také ho použijeme pro právě dokončený děj, často se slovem 'just'. Třeba: "He has just played football." (Právě hrál fotbal.)
🌟 Pamatuj si: Předpřítomný čas se nikdy nepojí s určitým časovým údajem v minulosti jako "yesterday" nebo "last week" - to je práce pro minulý čas prostý!
Další použití a příklady
Když mluvíme o ději, který začal v minulosti a stále trvá, sáhneme po předpřítomném čase. Například: "We have lived in Germany since 2000." (Žijeme v Německu od roku 2000.)
Stejně tak ho použijeme pro vyjádření zkušenosti až do současného okamžiku. Například: "I have been to New York recently." (Nedávno jsem byl v New Yorku.)
Předpřítomný čas se často používá s časovými údaji jako since (od určitého bodu) a for (po určitou dobu). Rozdíl je důležitý - "I've studied English since 2020" znamená, že jsi začal/a v roce 2020 a stále studuješ, zatímco "I've studied English for three years" říká, jak dlouho to trvá.
💡 Nezapomeň: Předpřítomný čas se v angličtině používá mnohem častěji než v češtině. Pokud máš pochybnosti a jde o něco, co souvisí s přítomností, často bude správnou volbou právě tento čas.
Věty s pravidelnými slovesy
S pravidelnými slovesy je tvoření předpřítomného času jednoduché - stačí přidat -ed k základnímu tvaru slovesa. Podívej se, jak vypadají kladné věty:
- I have watched TV. (Díval jsem se na televizi.)
- You have watched TV. (Díval jsi se na televizi.)
- He has watched TV. (Díval se na televizi.)
Pro záporné věty vložíme "not" mezi pomocné sloveso a příčestí:
- I have not watched TV. (Nedíval jsem se na televizi.)
- You have not watched TV. (Nedíval jsi se na televizi.)
- He has not watched TV. (Nedíval se na televizi.)
Když tvoříme otázky, jednoduše přesuneme pomocné sloveso na začátek věty:
- Have I watched TV? (Díval jsem se na televizi?)
- Have you watched TV? (Díval jsi se na televizi?)
- Has he watched TV? (Díval se na televizi?)
📝 Praktická rada: V běžné mluvě se často používají zkrácené tvary záporů: haven't, hasn't. Není to neformální, je to normální součást angličtiny!
Věty s nepravidelnými slovesy
Nepravidelná slovesa jsou trochu záludnější, protože musíš znát jejich tvar příčestí minulého, který se liší od základního tvaru. Například "read" má stejný tvar příčestí jako infinitiv, ale výslovnost je jiná!
Kladné věty s nepravidelnými slovesy:
- I have read a book. (Přečetl jsem knihu.)
- You have read a book. (Přečetl jsi knihu.)
- He has read a book. (Přečetl knihu.)
Záporné věty tvoříme stejně jako u pravidelných sloves:
- I have not read a book. (Nepřečetl jsem knihu.)

Otázky také fungují stejně:
- Have I read a book? (Přečetl jsem knihu?)
- Have you read a book? (Přečetl jsi knihu?)
- Has he read a book? (Přečetl knihu?)
🔍 Zajímavost: Nepravidelná slovesa se prostě musíš naučit. Dobrá zpráva je, že ta nejčastější slovesa používáš každý den, takže si je časem zautomatizuješ!
Příklady sloves a jejich tvary
U pravidelných sloves je to jednoduché - stačí přidat -ed:
- watch → watched
- play → played
- clean → cleaned
- work → worked
- talk → talked
U nepravidelných sloves musíš znát jejich specifický tvar:
- read → read (ale výslovnost se mění!)
- go→ gone
- see → seen
- do → done
- write → written
Není nutné se učit všechna nepravidelná slovesa najednou. Začni těmi nejběžnějšími a postupně přidávej další. Většinu z nich budeš znát intuitivně, protože je uslyšíš v písničkách, filmech nebo při čtení.
👉 Tip pro procvičení: Zkus si během dne všímat věcí, které jsi už udělal/a, a formuluj je v předpřítomném čase. Například: "I have eaten lunch", "I have finished my homework", "I have seen this movie before".

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
