Directional Terms and Key Body Systems
Ever wonder how doctors and scientists describe exactly where things are in your body? They use directional terms that work like a GPS system for anatomy. Superior means above (your head is superior to your chest), while inferior means below. Anterior (or ventral) points toward the front, and posterior (or dorsal) points toward the back.
The terms medial and lateral help pinpoint how close something is to your body's centerline. Your nose is medial to your ears, while your ears are lateral to your nose. Proximal means closer to where a body part attaches, and distal means farther away - so your shoulder is proximal to your wrist.
Your body contains several major organ systems that each have specific jobs. The integumentary system (your skin and related structures) acts like a protective shield and even makes vitamin D when you're in the sun. Your skeletal system doesn't just hold you up - it also makes blood cells and stores important minerals like calcium.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!!
