Hindi mo ba alam na may mga international laws na specifically designed para protektahan ang mga babae? Ang CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women) ay tinatawag na "international bill for women" - parang constitution ng mga babae sa buong mundo!
Ito ay nagsimula noong December 18, 1979 at ang Pilipinas naman ay naging miyembro noong July 15, 1980. Ngayon, mahigit 180 bansa na ang sumali dito. Kaya mo bang maniwala na ganito karaming bansa ang nag-agree na kailangan protektahan ang mga karapatan ng babae?
Ang limang pangunahing prinsipyo ng CEDAW ay simple (1) itaguyod ang tunay na pagkakapantay-pantay, (2) obligasyon ng bawat estado, (3) pagbabawal sa lahat ng diskriminasyon, (4) sugpuin ang paglabag sa karapatan, at (5) kilalanin na ang kultura at tradisyon ay maaaring hadlang sa karapatan ng babae.

Imagine mo kung lahat ng tao ay may equal rights - yan ang goal ng universal human rights! Ang mga babae ay may karapatan sa buhay, seguridad, at pribadong buhay na dapat igalang ng lahat.
Hindi lang yan - may karapatan din sa trabaho ang mga babae na dapat walang diskriminasyon. Produktibong trabaho na may pantay na sahod at proteksyon - yan ang dapat makakuha ng bawat babaeng manggagawa sa Pilipinas.
Ang karapatan sa edukasyon ay isa ring mahalagang aspeto. Walang dapat na hadlang para sa mga babaeng mag-aral o makakuha ng scholarship. Pati na rin ang karapatan na makabuo ng pamilya nang walang diskriminasyon dahil sa oryentasyong sekswal.

Alam mo bang may sariling batas tayo para sa mga kababaihan? Ang Republic Act 9710 o Magna Carta for Women ay naging epektibo noong August 14, 2009. Ito ang local version ng CEDAW para sa ating bansa.
Ang batas na ito ay nag-guarantee ng pantay na pagtrato sa harap ng batas, proteksyon laban sa violence, at kaligtasan sa panahon ng krisis. May special provisions din para sa edukasyon, sports, at employment discrimination sa gobyerno.
Ang mga covered nito ay hindi lang mga regular na babae - kasama dito ang mga batang babae, matatanda, marginalized women, at mga may kapansanan. May provisions din para sa 2-month maternity leave at pantay na representasyon sa media.
Kaya mo bang makita kung gaano kahalaga ang political participation ng mga kababaihan? Ang batas na ito ay nag-encourage sa mga babae na maging aktibo sa politics at governance.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
