DNA: A Molécula da Hereditariedade
O DNA é a molécula que guarda toda a informação genética dos seres vivos. Sua estrutura de dupla hélice é perfeita para armazenar e proteger as instruções que definem quem somos e como funcionamos.
A estrutura do DNA é fascinante: duas fitas antiparalelas que se enrolam formando uma espiral. A parte externa é hidrofílica, formada por açúcar (desoxirribose) e fosfato, enquanto o interior hidrofóbico contém as bases nitrogenadas que codificam a informação genética.
O DNA tem funções cruciais como armazenar e transmitir a informação genética, controlar o metabolismo celular e orientar todo o desenvolvimento do organismo. Nos eucariotos (como nós), o DNA fica dentro do núcleo celular, enquanto nos procariotos (como bactérias) encontra-se no citoplasma.
💡 Curiosidade: O pareamento de bases no DNA segue regras específicas: Adenina (A) sempre se liga à Timina (T) com 2 ligações de hidrogênio, enquanto Guanina (G) sempre se liga à Citosina (C) com 3 ligações. Este pareamento específico é essencial para a replicação precisa do DNA!
RNA: O Mensageiro da Vida
O RNA é uma molécula versátil que, diferente do DNA, existe como fita simples e usa o açúcar ribose em vez de desoxirribose. Uma diferença importante é que o RNA utiliza a base uracila no lugar da timina, mantendo as outras bases (adenina, guanina e citosina).
Existem três tipos principais de RNA, cada um com função específica: o RNA mensageiro (mRNA) transporta a informação genética do DNA para o citoplasma; o RNA transportador (tRNA) carrega aminoácidos durante a síntese de proteínas; e o RNA ribossômico (rRNA) forma parte da estrutura dos ribossomos.
Os ácidos nucleicos participam de dois processos moleculares essenciais: a transcrição e a tradução. Na transcrição, o DNA serve como molde para a síntese de RNA no núcleo celular. Já na tradução, que ocorre nos ribossomos, o mRNA é usado como modelo para a produção de proteínas, com ajuda do tRNA.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
