Staroveký Egypt - dar Nílu
Egypt si môžeš predstaviť ako obrovskú púšť s jednou čarovnou riekou uprostred. Rieka Níl bola pre starých Egypťanov úplne všetko - bez nej by ich civilizácia neexistovala.
Každý rok sa Níl vylial z brehov a priniesol so sebou úrodné bahno. Keď voda opadla, Egypťania mali perfektnú pôdu na pestovanie obilia, zeleniny a ovocia. Bez týchto záplav by v púšti nič nerástlo.
Faraón bol vládca celého Egypta a ľudia si mysleli, že je aj boh. Mal takú moc, že keď niečo prikázal, všetci ho museli poslúchnuť. Stavali pre neho obrovské pyramídy, ktoré slúžili ako jeho večný domov po smrti.
💡 Zaujímavosť: Egypťania si boli tak istí mocou Nílu, že ho považovali za boha! Volali ho Hapi.
Život pri Níle a moc faraónov
Väčšina Egypťanov boli roľníci, ktorí celý svoj život závisel od Nílu. Keď prišli záplavy, všetci pracovali na poliach. Po Níle sa plavili na lodiach a prevážali tovar do rôznych miest.
Faraóni neboli len vládcovia - boli považovaní za živých bohov na Zemi. Najznámejší je asi Tutanchamón, ktorého hrobku archeológovia našli takmer neporušenú. Predstav si, aké bohatstvá tam boli ukryté tisíce rokov!
Pyramídy sú dodnes jedným z najväčších záhad. Najväčšia pyramída v Gíze je vysoká ako 40-poschodová budova! Stavali ju tisíce robotníkov mnoho rokov, pričom používali len ľudskú silu a jednoduché nástroje.
💡 Vedel si? Veľká pyramída v Gíze bola najvyššou stavbou sveta viac ako 4000 rokov!
Hieroglyfy a každodenný život
Hieroglyfy boli ako staroveké emoji - každý obrázok znamenal slovo alebo zvuk. Písali ich na steny chrámov, papyrus (staroveký "papier") alebo kamene. Iba špeciálni ľudia - pisári - sa ich naučili čítať a písať.
Bežní Egypťania žili v domoch z nepálených tehál (blato zmiešané so slamou). Jedli hlavne chlieb, pili pivo, lovili ryby v Níle a pestovali zeleninu. Deti pomáhali rodičom už od malička.
Egypťania verili, že po smrti pokračuje život v inom svete. Preto mumifikovali mŕtvych - vysušili ich telá špeciálnymi soľami a zabalili do plátna. Do hrobiek im dávali jedlo, šperky a všetko, čo budú potrebovať v posmrtnom živote.
💡 Fun fact: Rosettská doska pomohla rozlúštiť hieroglyfy! Mal na sebe ten istý text v troch jazykoch - ako prekladač z minulosti.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!!
