Sve o relativnim rečenicama: vodič za učenike

Osnove relativnih rečenica
Relativne rečenice su zavisne rečenice koje nam daju više informacija o nekoj imenici iz glavne rečenice. Povezuju se pomoću relativnih zamenica (who, which, that, whose) ili relativnih priloga (where, when, why).
Najvažnije je da razumeš da postoje dva tipa relativnih rečenica. Definišuće rečenice daju suštinsku informaciju bez koje rečenica gubi smisao, dok nedefinišuće daju samo dodatne informacije koje možeš da preskočiš.
Antecedent je imenica na koju se tvoja relativna zamenica odnosi. U rečenici "The man who lives next door is a doctor", antecedent za "who" je "the man".
💡 Zapamti: Relativne rečenice čine tvoj engleski elegantnijim i manje repetitivnim!
Definišuće vs nedefinišuće rečenice
Definišuće rečenice ti govore tačno o kojoj osobi ili stvari se radi. Bez ove informacije, rečenica gubi smisao. Nikad se ne odvajaju zarezima i možeš koristiti "that" umesto "who" ili "which".
Primer: "The student who sits next to me is from Novi Sad." Ovde tačno znaš o kom studentu se radi.
Nedefinišuće rečenice daju dodatne informacije o nečemu što je već jasno. Uvek se odvajaju zarezima i nikad ne smeš koristiti "that" - samo "who" za ljude i "which" za stvari.
Primer: "My brother, who lives in Belgrade, is an engineer." Već znaš o kom bratu se radi, info o Beogradu je bonus.
💡 Pazi: Zarezi potpuno menjaju značenje rečenice - ovo je česta greška na testovima!
Kada možeš izostaviti zamenice
Evo najkomplikovanijeg dela - relativnu zamenicu možeš izostaviti samo u definišućim rečenicama i samo kada je ona objekat glagola.
Kako da znaš da li je objekat? Pitaj se: da li neko drugi vrši radnju nad tom zamenicom? Ako jeste, onda je objekat i možeš je izostaviti.
Poređaj: "The man who lives here" vs "The man (who) I saw" .
Whose koristiš za pripadnost, where za mesto, a when za vreme. Ove tri se nikad ne izostavljaju.
💡 Trik: Ako možeš da staviš "njega/nju/to" umesto zamenice, onda je objekat i možeš je izostaviti!
Praktični primeri i česte greške
Kada spojaš "A friend is coming to visit" i "I met him in Greece", dobijaš "A friend (who) I met in Greece is coming to visit." Zamenica se može izostaviti jer je "him" objekat.
Pazi na razliku: "My sister who lives in Niš is a doctor" (imaš više sestara) vs "My sister, who lives in Niš, is a doctor" (imaš samo jednu sestru).
Česte greške koje moraš izbegavati:
- Korišćenje "that" u nedefinišućim rečenicama
- Zaboravljanje zareza kod nedefinišućih rečenica
- Izostavljanje zamenice kada je subjekat
💡 Bonus tip: U formalnom pisanju, predlog može doći ispred zamenice: "The person to whom I spoke" (ali ovo retko koristiš u govoru).
Relativni prilozi i finalne napomene
Where zamenjuje "in/at which" za mesta: "This is the house where I grew up." When zamenjuje "on/in which" za vreme: "I'll never forget the day when I met her."
Whose je poseban jer pokazuje pripadnost i koristi se i za ljude i za stvari: "That's the boy whose father is famous."
Kada se predlog nalazi na kraju rečenice, zamenica se često izostavlja: "The music (that) we were listening to was loud."
Brza provera: Definišuće = neophodna info + bez zareza + može "that". Nedefinišuće = dodatna info + sa zarezima + ne može "that".
💡 Za test: Uvek se pitaj - da li je informacija neophodna za razumevanje? Ako jeste, definišuća je!
Kratak pregled za ponavljanje
Who → ljudi , Which → stvari/životinje, That → sve (samo definišuće), Whose → pripadnost, Where → mesto, When → vreme.
Ključno pravilo: Zamenica se izostavlja samo u definišućim rečenicama i samo ako je objekat glagola.
Najčešće greške: Korišćenje "that" u nedefinišućim, zaboravljanje zareza, izostavljanje subjektske zamenice.
Sada kada znaš sve ovo, tvoj engleski će zvučati mnogo prirodnije i sofisticiranije. Vežbaj spajanje kratkih rečenica u elegantne relativne konstrukcije!

This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
