Tvorba Reči Kroz Prefikse i Sufikse

Osnove tvorbe reči
Tvorba reči je kao Lego kocke za jezik - uzmeš osnovnu reč i dodaš delove na početak ili kraj da napraviš nešto novo! Ovo ti pomaže da iz jedne reči kao što je "happy" napraviš "unhappy", "happiness" ili "happily".
Postoje tri ključna dela: osnovna reč (root) koja nosi osnovno značenje, prefiks koji ide na početak i menja značenje, i sufiks koji ide na kraj i uglavnom menja vrstu reči. Na primer, od glagola "act" možeš napraviti "react" ili "actor" .
Najvažnije je da zapamtiš - prefiksi uglavnom menjaju značenje reči, dok sufiksi menjaju vrstu reči (iz glagola prave imenicu, iz imenice pridev, itd.).
Savět: Kada vidiš nepoznatu reč, pokušaj da prepoznaš delove - često možeš pogoditi značenje!
Prefiksi - menjanje značenja
Prefiksi su kao "modifikatori" koji se lepe na početak reči i daju joj novo značenje. Negativni prefiksi su posebno važni jer stvaraju suprotnosti.
Najčešći negativni prefiksi su un- (unhappy, unusual), dis- (disagree, dislike), i grupa in-/im-/il-/ir- (incorrect, impossible, illegal, irregular). Koja varijanta in- grupe se koristi zavisi od prvog slova osnovne reči - im- ide sa m/p, ir- sa r, il- sa l.
Ostali korisni prefiksi uključuju re- , pre- , post- , i mis- . Over- i under- pokazuju "previše" ili "premalo" (overeat, underpaid).
Pažnja: Ne možeš staviti bilo koji prefiks na bilo koju reč - učiš kombinacije koje zaista postoje!
Sufiksi za imenice
Sufiksi za imenice su tvoji najbolji prijatelji kada trebaš da od glagola ili prideva napraviš imenicu. Ovo je super korisno u pismenim zadacima kada moraš da promeniš vrstu reči.
Od prideva prave imenice sufiksi -ness (happiness, sadness, kindness) i -ity (possibility, stupidity). Od glagola koristi -ment (agreement, development), -ion/-tion/-sion (action, information, decision), ili -er/-or za osobe (teacher, actor, inventor).
Kada dodaješ sufikse, pazi na pravopisne promene! Ako se reč završava na -y posle suglasnika, y postaje i (happy → happiness). Ako se završava na -e, često se gubi pre sufiksa sa samoglasnikom (create → creator).
Za test: Uvek prvo prepoznaj koju vrstu reči trebaš u rečenici - imenicu, pridev ili glagol!
Sufiksi za prideve
Sufiksi za prideve ti omogućavaju da od imenica i glagola napraviš opisne reči. Ovo je ključno za bogat i raznovrstan izraz.
-able/-ible (readable, accessible) znači "može se", -ful (beautiful, careful) znači "pun nečega", dok -less (homeless, useless) znači "bez nečega". Ovi sufiksi su posebno produktivni jer mogu da se dodaju na mnoge reči.
-ous (dangerous, famous) i -y (sunny, rainy, dirty) su takođe česti i prave prideve od imenica. Zapamti da -y često menja spelling - ako se imenica završava na suglasnik + y, dodaješ samo -y, ali pazi na druge promene.
Možeš kombinovati više sufiksa: friend → friendly → unfriendly → unfriendliness. Svaki korak menja značenje ili vrstu reči.
Trik: Kada čitaš, obračaj pažnju na ove sufikse - vežbaćeš prepoznavanje vrsta reči!
Kombinovanje prefiksa i sufiksa
Stvarna moć tvorbe reči dolazi kada kombinuješ prefikse i sufikse na istoj osnovnoj reči. Od jedne reči možeš napraviti celu familiju povezanih reči.
Uzmi reč "agree": možeš napraviti "disagree" , "agreement" , ili "disagreement" (i prefiks i sufiks). Svaka kombinacija daje novo značenje i često novu vrstu reči.
Sa rečju "use" imaš još više mogućnosti: "reuse", "useful", "useless", "user", pa čak i "usefulness" (sufiks na već izmenjenu reč). Ove kombinacije rade kao lančana reakcija.
Najčešće greške su pokušaji da staviš bilo koji prefiks na bilo koju reč (ne kažeš "ungood" već "bad") i zaboravljanje spelling promena kada dodaješ sufikse.
Za testove: Zadaci tipa "Dopuni pravilnim oblikom reči u zagradi" testiraju upravo ovo znanje!
Strategije za testove i praktična primena
Na testovima ćeš često videti rečenice sa rečju u zagradama koju treba da promeniš. Ključ je da prvo prepoznaš koju vrstu reči tražiš - da li treba imenica, pridev, ili možda reč suprotnog značenja.
Primer: "His explanation was completely _______ (LOGICAL)". Trebaš pridev suprotnog značenja, pa je odgovor "illogical". Uvek analiziraj kontekst pre nego što dodaš prefiks ili sufiks.
Najvažniji prefiksi za pamćenje: un-, dis-, re-, in-/im-/il-/ir-, over-, under-. Najvažniji sufiksi: -ment, -ness, -ion, -er/-or (za imenice), -able, -ful, -less, -ous (za prideve).
Redovno vežbaj prepoznavanje delova reči kada čitaš. Što više uočavaš obrasce, lakše ćeš ih primeniti u novim situacijama.
