Insérer les citations : méthodes et règles essentielles
Ce document présente les techniques fondamentales pour insérer une citation dans un texte argumentatif ou une dissertation. Il aborde le signalement des citations, les méthodes d'insertion selon la longueur du passage cité, et le respect dû au texte original.
Le signalement de la citation se fait principalement par l'utilisation des guillemets. Ces marques du discours direct servent à délimiter clairement les passages cités, qu'il s'agisse de mots isolés ou de phrases entières. L'emploi des guillemets est systématique pour encadrer une citation.
Highlight: Les guillemets sont essentiels pour signaler et délimiter toute citation dans un texte.
Concernant les méthodes d'insertion, elles varient selon la longueur de la citation. Pour une citation brève (un mot, une expression isolée ou une phrase courte), on l'intègre directement dans la phrase du commentaire par juxtaposition.
Example: Comment insérer une citation dans une dissertation courte : "Le style, c'est l'homme" affirme Buffon.
Pour une citation longue (une proposition autonome ou plusieurs phrases), plusieurs options sont possibles :
- Insérer le passage cité entre guillemets après une proposition introductrice suivie de deux points.
- Utiliser une proposition en incise à l'intérieur du passage entre guillemets.
- Subordonner la citation à la proposition introductrice, en choisissant un verbe introducteur approprié.
- Recourir à la parenthèse.
Vocabulary: Une proposition en incise est une phrase insérée dans une autre pour apporter une précision ou une explication.
Le respect du texte cité est primordial. Entre les guillemets, on doit reproduire exactement la forme du texte original. Tout changement doit être explicitement signalé :
- Les coupures sont indiquées par des points de suspension entre crochets : [...].
- Les modifications grammaticales imposées par l'insertion de la citation sont signalées par des crochets.
- Pour citer des vers, on respecte leur retour à la ligne ou on les sépare par une barre transversale si on les intègre dans la prose.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! Knowunity is the BEST app I’ve used in a minute. This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
