Structure du commentaire de texte
La structure du commentaire composé est essentielle pour présenter une analyse cohérente et convaincante. L'introduction et la conclusion jouent des rôles cruciaux dans l'organisation du commentaire.
L'introduction doit comporter trois éléments clés :
- Une présentation rapide de l'auteur et de l'œuvre dont est extrait le passage à étudier.
- Une présentation du texte, incluant sa place dans l'œuvre et un résumé rapide ou le thème principal.
- L'annonce de la problématique et du plan du commentaire (les grands axes d'étude).
Definition: La problématique est la question centrale qui guidera l'analyse tout au long du commentaire.
La conclusion, quant à elle, doit :
- Fournir un bilan de chaque sous-partie, apportant une réponse claire à la question posée dans la problématique.
- Proposer une ouverture, c'est-à-dire faire référence à un autre texte ou à une œuvre d'art en lien avec le texte étudié, en explicitant les liens entre les deux œuvres.
Highlight: La conclusion ne doit pas simplement résumer le commentaire, mais offrir une perspective plus large sur le texte étudié.
Cette structure permet de présenter un commentaire composé cohérent et bien argumenté, démontrant une compréhension approfondie du texte et de ses enjeux littéraires.
Étapes préliminaires du commentaire de texte
La première étape de la méthode de commentaire de texte français consiste à lire attentivement le texte et le paratexte, qui comprend les informations sur l'auteur et le contexte historique. Il est crucial de définir le genre littéraire, qu'il s'agisse d'un roman, d'un poème, d'un essai ou d'une pièce de théâtre.
L'analyse du titre est une étape importante, suivie de la division du texte en grandes parties, chacune recevant un titre descriptif. Pour chaque section, il faut identifier le type de discours dominant : descriptif, narratif, argumentatif ou injonctif.
Highlight: La tonalité du texte, ou son registre dominant, doit être déterminée pour comprendre l'effet que l'auteur cherche à produire chez le lecteur.
Pour formuler les axes d'étude, il est recommandé de se poser trois questions fondamentales :
- Quoi ? (Identifier le type de texte : incipit, excipit, scène d'exposition, poème lyrique, etc.)
- Comment ? (Analyser les champs lexicaux dominants, les registres et les procédés d'écriture)
- Pourquoi ? (Déterminer l'intention de l'auteur : émouvoir, dénoncer, créer du suspense, mettre en valeur un personnage, etc.)
Example: Pour analyser les procédés d'écriture, on peut utiliser un tableau avec trois colonnes : Procédé, Citations, Explication.
Cette approche méthodique permet de structurer l'analyse et de préparer efficacement le commentaire composé.
