Franse tijdsvormen: présent, passé composé en futur proche
Deze drie Franse tijdsvormen zijn echt de basis van alles. Met de présent vertel je wat er nu gebeurt, met het passé composé wat je gisteren deed, en met de futur proche wat je morgen gaat doen. Best logisch eigenlijk!
Ze komen overeen met Nederlandse tijden, maar hebben hun eigen spelregels. Het goede nieuws? Als je deze drie beheerst, kun je al megaveel uitdrukken in gesprekken, bij toetsen en als je Franse series kijkt.
Deze tijdsvormen zie je letterlijk overal terug - van Franse TikToks tot schoolboeken. Ze zijn dus echt de moeite waard om goed te leren!
Let op: Deze drie tijdsvormen vormen samen de basis van bijna alle Franse communicatie!
De présent - tegenwoordige tijd
De présent is jouw nieuwe beste vriend - je gebruikt hem voor alles wat nu gebeurt, gewoontes, en feiten. Voor werkwoorden die eindigen op -er (zoals parler, manger) vervang je gewoon de -er door de juiste uitgang.
Neem bijvoorbeeld parler (spreken): je parle, tu parles, il/elle parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent. Super regelmatig dus! Je mange une pomme betekent gewoon "ik eet een appel".
Maar pas op voor de onregelmatige werkwoorden zoals être (zijn), avoir (hebben), aller (gaan) en faire . Die moet je uit je hoofd leren, want die zijn overal!
Deze tijd is echt onmisbaar - van "je regarde Netflix" tot "nous habitons à Amsterdam". Een keer goed leren en je hebt er de rest van je leven profijt van.
Pro tip: Begin met -er werkwoorden - die zijn het makkelijkst en komen het vaakst voor!
Het passé composé - voltooide tijd
Het passé composé klinkt ingewikkelder dan het is - het bestaat uit twee stukjes: avoir/être + voltooid deelwoord. Voor de meeste werkwoorden gebruik je avoir: j'ai mangé (ik heb gegeten), tu as parlé (jij hebt gesproken).
Het voltooid deelwoord van -er werkwoorden eindigt altijd op -é. Dus manger wordt mangé, parler wordt parlé. J'ai visité le Rijksmuseum = ik heb het Rijksmuseum bezocht.
Sommige werkwoorden gebruiken être als hulpwerkwoord - vooral bewegingswerkwoorden zoals aller, venir, partir. Dan moet het voltooid deelwoord kloppen met het onderwerp: elle est partie (zij is vertrokken).
De belangrijkste être-werkwoorden kun je onthouden met 'DR MRS VANDERTRAMP' - een ezelsbruggetje dat echt werkt!
Onthoud: Être-werkwoorden zijn vooral beweging en verandering - denk aan gaan, komen, vertrekken!
De futur proche - nabije toekomst
De futur proche is eigenlijk de makkelijkste tijdsvorm ever! Je neemt het werkwoord aller in de présent en plakt er gewoon een infinitief achter. Je vais manger = ik ga eten. Dat's it!
Het werkt altijd hetzelfde: tu vas parler (jij gaat spreken), nous allons habiter (wij gaan wonen), ils vont travailler (zij gaan werken). Je vais visiter Paris betekent "ik ga Parijs bezoeken".
Je gebruikt de futur proche voor plannen, voorspellingen, en beslissingen die je net hebt genomen. Je vais faire du shopping (ik ga shoppen), il va pleuvoir (het gaat regenen).
Deze tijd is perfect voor dagelijkse gesprekken over je plannen. Super handig en niet moeilijk!
Makkelijk te onthouden: Futur proche = aller + infinitief. Simpeler wordt het niet!
Praktijkvoorbeelden en oefeningen
Nu wordt het leuk - échte Nederlandse situaties in het Frans! Présent: Je regarde Netflix, nous mangeons des bitterballen. Passé composé: J'ai fait du vélo hier, elle est allée à Utrecht. Futur proche: nous allons voir un film, ils vont manger des pannenkoeken.
Probeer deze zinnen zelf: "Ik woon in Amsterdam" (présent), "Wij hebben gisteren gewinkeld" (passé composé), "Hij gaat vanavond televisie kijken" (futur proche).
De antwoorden: J'habite à Amsterdam, Nous avons fait du shopping hier, Il va regarder la télévision ce soir. Zie je hoe logisch het eigenlijk is?
Door je eigen leven te beschrijven in het Frans wordt het vanzelf automatisch. Gewoon elke dag even oefenen met wat je doet, deed en gaat doen!
Oefentip: Beschrijf elke dag je activiteiten in deze drie tijdsvormen - het wordt dan automatisch!
