Here are tips for students Year 9: Be organised It is important to be organised as you will have a lot more tests and homework than year 7 and year 8 Revise As alreadg said, there will be a lot more tests thatn year 7 and 8, so revising earlier (at least days or a week earlier before the test is helpful (and you can check my presentation on Student Revision tips and and revision note on how to revise for test/exam) Don't skip school Don't skip school as Year 9 is am important year for GCSES options and your attendance can affect which GCSE classes/chosen subjects (such as not taking them) Participate in class Participating in class is very crucial thing to do as it can give you better grades but also when being in your GCSE classes because it can show your teacher the understanding you are having. Avoid behaviour points IF your school has a behaviour system (like giving green, yellow or red card and detenntions) avoid getting the behaviour points (yellow or red cards) and focus gettibg more positive points (green cards). Always do the homework Doing the homework is akso important as it also gives a boost to your grades as well. Alwags do it on time. Tk avoid the risk of forgetting, put it on your calendar on your phone and write a note about it on a piece of paper.
