Základné pojmy elektrickej energie
Predstav si elektrický prúd ako rieku, kde sa elektróny pohybujú jedným smerom cez kovový drôt. Je to vlastne usmernený pohyb elektricky nabitých častíc, najčastejšie elektrónov.
Elektrický obvod je ako uzavretá cesta - ak nie je úplne prepojená, prúd nemôže pretekať. Základné súčiastky poznáš už teraz: zdroj (batéria), spotrebič (žiarovka), vodiče (drôty) a spínač.
Tip: Elektróny sa pohybujú od mínus k plus, ale dohodnutý smer prúdu je opačný - od plus k mínus!
Vodiče, izolanty a podmienky prúdenia
Aby prúd mohol pretekať, potrebuješ tri veci: vodič (materiál s voľnými elektrónmi), elektrické napätie (silu, ktorá tlačí elektróny) a uzavretý obvod (nepretržitú cestu).
Vodiče ako meď, hliník či striebro majú voľné elektróny a výborně vedú prúd. Izolanty ako plast, guma, drevo či sklo prúd nevedú - preto sa používajú na ochranu.
Zapamätaj si základné jednotky: prúd sa meria v ampéroch (A), napätie vo voltoch (V) a odpor v ohmoch (Ω). Tieto jednotky budeš potrebovať pri výpočtoch.
Bezpečnosť: Nikdy sa nedotýkaj zásuvky mokrými rukami - voda je vodič a prúd môže prejsť tvojím telom!
Sériové zapojenie spotrebičov
Pri sériovom zapojení sú spotrebiče zaradené za sebou ako vagóny vo vlaku. Prúd prechádza cez všetky postupne, takže má v celom obvode rovnakú hodnotu.
Problém je, že napätie sa rozdelí medzi všetky spotrebiče - každý dostane len časť. Ešte horšie je, že ak jeden spotrebič prestane fungovať, preruší sa celý obvod.
Klasickým príkladom sú staré vianočné svetielka. Ak jedna žiarovka zhasla, prestali svietiť všetky. Preto sa dnes používajú moderné LED svetielka s paralelným zapojením.
Pamätka: Sériovo = za sebou, jeden prúd, rozdelené napätie, jeden pokazí všetko.
Paralelné zapojenie spotrebičov
Paralelné zapojenie je ako niekoľko ciest vedúcich do rovnakého cieľa. Každý spotrebič má svoju vlastnú cestu k zdroju, takže ak jeden prestane fungovať, ostatné pokračujú v práci.
Pri paralelnom zapojení má každý spotrebič rovnaké napätie ako zdroj, ale prúd sa rozdelí podľa potrieb jednotlivých zariadení. Každé si "vezme" toľko prúdu, koľko potrebuje.
Takto sú zapojené všetky svetlá a zásuvky v tvojom dome. Keď vypneš svetlo v kuchyni, televízor v obývačke stále funguje. Inteligentné, nie?
Prakticky: Paralelne = vedľa seba, rozdelený prúd, rovnaké napätie, nezávislosť.
Praktické príklady a aplikácie
Baterka je perfektný príklad jednoduchého obvodu. Batérie sú zdroj, LED je spotrebič, tlačidlo je spínač a kovové kontakty sú vodiče. Keď stlačíš tlačidlo, obvod sa uzavrie a LED svieti.
V domácnosti nájdeš oba typy zapojenia. Svetlá v rôznych miestnostiach sú zapojené paralelne - preto môžeš vypnúť jedno a ostatné fungujú. Niektoré dekoračné svetlá môžu byť zapojené sériovo.
Moderná elektronika využíva kombinácie oboch zapojení podľa potreby. Procesor v tvojom telefóne obsahuje miliardy malých obvodov, ktoré spracovávajú informácie.
Zvedavosť: V tvojom telefóne je viac tranzistorov ako hviezd v galaxii!
Bezpečnosť a zhrnutie
Elektrina je užitočná, ale môže byť nebezpečná. Nikdy nevkladaj kovové predmety do zásuvky a vždy pracuj s elektrickými zariadeniami opatrne. Mokré ruky a elektrina sa absolútne neznášajú!
Hlavné body na zapamätanie: elektrický prúd je pohyb elektrónov, obvod musí byť uzavretý, vodiče vedú prúd (kovy), izolanty nie (plast, guma). Sériové zapojenie = za sebou, paralelné = vedľa seba.
Jednotky si zapamätaj ako A-V-O: Ampér pre prúd, Volt pre napätie, Ohm pre odpor. S týmito základmi zvládneš akúkoľvek úlohu z elektrotechniky.
