Základné pojmy, ktoré musíš vedieť
Predstav si Afriku ako obrovský stôl - to je náhorná plošina, ktorá tvorí väčšinu kontinentu. Na tomto "stole" nájdeš všetko možné!
Púšť je miesto, kde takmer neprší a život je tam naozaj ťažký. Ale aj v púšti môžeš nájsť oázu - miesto s vodou, kde rastú palmy a žijú ľudia.
Keď sa zemské dosky od seba vzďaľujú, vznikne riftová dolina - obrovská trhlina v zemi. Rieky začínajú v prameni a končia v ústí, kde sa niekedy rozdelia na viacero ramien a vytvoria deltu.
💡 Tip na test: Zapamätaj si, že Afrika je hlavne plošina - to je základ všetkého!
Púšte a pohoria Afriky
Sahara je absolútny gigant - najväčšia púšť na svete, väčšia ako celá Európa! Rozprestiera sa cez severnú Afriku a má obrovské pieskové duny. V južnej Afrike nájdeš Kalahari, ktorá nie je taká suchá, a pobrežnú púšť Namib s najvyššími dunami na svete.
Afrika má aj úžasné hory. Kilimandžáro je najvyšší vrch kontinentu s výškou 5 895 metrov - a predstav si, že na vrchole je sneh, aj keď je blízko rovníka! To je preto, že čím vyššie ideš, tým je chladnejšie.
Atlas je pohorie na severozápade podobné Alpám, zatiaľ čo Dračie vrchy na juhu majú strmé svahy a krásne výhľady.
💡 Zaujímavosť: Na Kilimandžáre môžeš mať v lete snehuliaka - je to vyhasnutá sopka!
Riftová dolina a najdôležitejšie rieky
Východoafrická riftová dolina je ako obrovská prasklina v zemi, ktorá vznikla, keď sa africká zemská doska začala deliť. V tejto prepadline sa nachádzajú najhlbšie jazerá Afriky.
Níl je najslávnejšia rieka - často sa považuje za najdlhšiu na svete! Má dva hlavné pramene: Biely Níl z Viktóriinho jazera a Modrý Níl z Etiópie. Bez neho by Egypt bol len púšťou, pretože prináša vodu a úrodnú pôdu.
Kongo je druhá najdlhšia rieka, ale má najviac vody v Afrike. Zambezi je známa vďaka slávnym Viktóriinyá vodopádom - predstav si obrovskú stenu vody, ktorá vytvára hmlu viditeľnú na kilometre!
💡 Nezamieňaj: Níl = najdlhšia rieka, Kongo = najviac vody!
Jazerá Afriky
Viktóriino jazero je absolútny šampión - najväčšie jazero Afriky a druhé najväčšie sladkovodné jazero na svete! Leží na hraniciach troch krajín a z neho vyteká Biely Níl.
V riftovej doline sa nachádzajú najhlbšie jazerá. Jazero Tanganika je najdlhšie a druhé najhlbšie jazero na svete. Jazero Malawi je známe svojimi úžasnými farebními rybami.
Čadské jazero je trochu iné - je plytké a jeho veľkosť sa stále mení podľa toho, koľko naprší. V posledných rokoch sa bohužiaľ zmenšuje kvôli nedostatku zrážok.
💡 Pamätaj si: Všetky tie hlboké jazerá (Tanganika, Malawi) sú v riftovej doline!
Život v extrémoch

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!!
