In order to become a physical therapist, you need to first get a Bachelor's
degree in a related field. These can include any field related to health,
exercise, or sports science since there are so many. Occasionally, students
may be required to take courses in kinesiology, human anatomy, physics, or
other kinds of science. After a Bachelor's degree has been obtained,
students must next complete a DPT, or Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Later on, they must pass the NPTE or the National Physical Therapy
Examination, which consists of 250 multiple choice questions. They are
given 3 tries, and typically, 90% pass the first attempt. Part 4 of becoming a
PT varies based on the state you are in. Some require you to pass the NPTE
and meet other requirements such as background checks, additional
training, etc. After graduation, everything else is optional, but is
recommended to make the PT more qualified. 2. Most Popular places to get education
In the United States, the largest Physical Therapy school is the
University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (also known as
USAHS for short). This school features 5 simulation centers that
students can use to practice before working in a real clinic

of Delaware is tied for first place with the University of Pittsburgh
and the Washington University in St.Louis for Physical Therapy

The job a physical therapist is to help improve movement for the injured
or those with restricted movement. Generally, physical therapists will do
a series of movement exercises that shouldn't be too painful, but will
gradually extend the range of movement for that joint. For example, if
someone has a shortened tendon in their wrist, putting wax on it then
slowly rolling and stretching it out is a common practice. Additionally, if
someone has shoulder pain, they can see a physical therapist where
they will do both exercises and stretches that will help roll out that

The salary of a physical therapist obviously depends on where you
are located, your education, where you received your education,
what facility you work at, and more. However, the general salary for
a physical therapist in Nevada (more specifically, Las Vegas) is,
according to Salary.com:

Patience: If they move too fast on a patient, it could
potentially harm them. They need to be patient and move at
the appropriate speed.
Communication Skills: They need to be able to communicate
the treatment plans and be able to describe in detail how
they will deal with the patient.
Human Anatomy Knowledge: In order for a Physical Therapist
to know how to help the patient, they must have great
knowledge on the parts of the body and how they function. 6. A Physical Therapist's environment

period, with around 15,400 opening up each year over the
