Powstanie i rozkwit Cesarstwa Rzymskiego
Oktawian August zmienił oblicze Rzymu na zawsze, wprowadzając w 27 r. p.n.e. system zwany pryncypatem. To był genialny ruch - oficjalnie zachował republikańskie instytucje, ale w praktyce przejął całą władzę.
Jego władza opierała się głównie na armii, którą dowodzili w połowie Rzymianie, a w połowie mieszkańcy prowincji. To pokazuje, jak bardzo Rzym się już wtedy zmienił!
Po śmierci Augusta władzę przejęła dynastia julijsko-klaudyjska, a później dynastia Antoninów w II wieku n.e. Ta druga była szczególnie sprytna - cesarze adoptowali najlepszych kandydatów na następców, zamiast przekazywać władzę biologicznym synom.
💡 Ciekawostka: Okres ok. 200 lat pokoju nazywa się Pax Romana - to był czas, kiedy w Imperium praktycznie nie było wojen wewnętrznych!
Społeczeństwo i koniec republiki
Niewolnictwo było fundamentem rzymskiej ekonomii. Niewolnicy to głównie jeńcy wojenni i porwane osoby, których status przechodził na dzieci. Stanowili główną siłę roboczą, a każde nieposłuszeństwo było surowo karane.
Wyzwoleńcy otrzymywali wolność, ale nie obywatelstwo rzymskie - to była spora różnica w prawach i możliwościach.
Romanizacja to był klucz do utrzymania tak ogromnego państwa. Rzym nie narzucał swojej kultury siłą - mieszkańcy prowincji sami chcieli być "Rzymianami", bo to dawało im korzyści i prestiż.
Edykt Karakalli z 212 r. n.e. nadał obywatelstwo wszystkim wolnym mieszkańcom Imperium. To pokazuje, jak daleko zaszedł proces integracji!
💡 Pamiętaj: Romanizacja i urbanizacja szły w parze - miasta rzymskie stawały się centrami kultury i administracji w całym Imperium.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
