the plague was in the fleas on the backs of rats who were on the traditional ships who got on the trading ships 

boils, black\blue rash, beauboes, fever, fatigue, shiver fits, vomiting blood, being Dylerious, chest pains and trouble breathing 

it is belived that it was because they didn't understand how disease spread fully

people belived that the Jews poisoned the water wells so 100's of Jews were killed as a result of this claim. the Christians belived that the Jews poisoned the well to wipe out Christianity and recruit people to jeudaidm. 

what did people belived caused the black death? 

some others belived that the black death was caused by sin so it was a punish ment from God so people would fagelate and pray relentlessly

what was another reason belive caused the black death? 

-take moderate exercise                                 -not over eat                                           -avoid stress                                            -keep clean with regular bathing        -breath clean [eastern or northern air]    -don't have too much sex 

what does the regiment of sanitatas advise people do that was useful and would work 

-live away from animals and not too close the the ground floor                              -avoid barking dogs, drunks and bandits because they cause stress and therefore disease
