Introdução aos Verbos Modais
Os verbos modais modificam o significado do verbo principal para expressar diferentes intenções na comunicação. Você vai perceber que eles são super úteis para tornar seu inglês mais natural!
'Can' é um dos modais mais usados no dia a dia. Você pode usá-lo para expressar habilidade (I can speak English), permissão (Can I go to the cinema?), fazer pedidos (Can you wait a moment?) ou ofertas (I can lend you my car).
'Could' é a forma passada de 'can', mas também serve para tornar seu inglês mais educado. Use-o para falar de habilidades no passado (I could speak English when I was five), fazer pedidos mais educados (Could you help me?) ou sugerir algo de forma mais gentil.
💡 Dica: Usar 'could' em vez de 'can' em pedidos torna sua fala mais educada e aumenta suas chances de receber uma resposta positiva!
May e Might
'May' é um modal mais formal que 'can'. Você vai usá-lo principalmente para expressar possibilidade (It may rain today) ou permissão formal (May I go to the cinema?).
'Might' é semelhante ao 'may', mas indica uma possibilidade menor. Quando você diz "It might rain" está sugerindo que a chance é menor do que se dissesse "It may rain". Use-o quando algo é possível, mas não muito provável.

'Ought to' é muito parecido com 'should', mas soa mais rigoroso. Use-o para dar conselhos fortes ou falar de obrigações morais. Por exemplo: "You ought to drive carefully in bad weather" é um conselho mais enfático que usar 'should'.
'Shall' geralmente substitui 'will' na primeira pessoa (I, we), especialmente em inglês britânico. Também é muito usado para fazer sugestões em perguntas, como "Shall I carry your bag?". Fica super educado!
'Should' é o modal que expressa recomendação ou obrigação moral menos intensa que 'must'. É perfeito para dar conselhos ("You should eat more vegetables") ou falar de expectativas sobre como as coisas deveriam ser.

Will e Would

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
