History of the Rosary
The Rosary has deep historical roots in Catholic tradition. Before 800 A.D., monks prayed all 150 Psalms, and eventually people were encouraged to pray 150 Lord's Prayers as an alternative.
The Blessed Virgin Mary is believed to have instituted the Rosary between the 13th-16th centuries. According to tradition, she appeared to St. Dominic and gave him a Rosary, asking Christians to pray the Hail Mary and Lord's Prayer instead of Psalms.
St. Dominic helped spread this devotion widely before his death in 1475, establishing many Rosary confraternities throughout various countries.

The Rosary evolved from a simple prayer practice into an organized devotion. St. Dominic played a crucial role in reinstituting the Rosary in many countries before his death in September 1475.

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
