The use of an asyndetuc list vould show us how afraid and mistreated the children were. This could show how if you are unkind to people you will end up miserable yourself. Aswell as that it could reflect society's problems at the time

the rhetorical question and the irony could make scrooge regret his actions encouraging him to change

the repetition and exclametory sentences could make scrooge feel welcomed linking back to Christmas being a welcoming time of year. Also it emphasises the difference between the three ghosts.

"Come in! exclaimed the ghost Come in and know me better man!"

this asyndetic list could show how the ghost of Christmas present personifies as the values associated with Christmas like "sparkling" it could also show how the ghost is described similarly to farther Christmas and this let's the reader know that he is there for the purpose for the ghost which is making scrooge more cheerful

"it's sparkling eye, it's open hand, it's cheery voice"

the personification of the rust covering the scabbard chow show how the ghost has put up his weapons and is ready to welcome scrooge 

"an antique scabbard; but no sword was in it and the ancient sheath was eaten up with rust"

the plosives and pathetic falaciy could reflect how the cratchits have a small Christmas but "bubbling" shows how they are still happy 

"slow potatoes bubbling up, knocked up loudly at the saucepan-lid to br let out and peeled"

the exclametory sentence and the religious imagery could enable the audience to trust the cratchits due ti religious context 

"a merry Christmas to us all, my dears God bless us!"

the exclametory sentence could show how the pudding is highly symbolic letting the audience know the cratchits are delighted with the simple things in opposition to scrooge 

Dickens uses listing and emotive language to describe the corpse of the man to make the audience feel bad for the man creating a sence of overwhelming pity and neglect

"Plundered and bereft, unwatched, u wept  uncared for, was the body of this man"

the exclamation could show how scrooge is shocked at his fate while the adjective "neglected" could scare him into changing and finally the noun "own" could imply how it was his own fault
