Characters and Weekly Walks
Mr. Utterson isn't your typical exciting protagonist - he's a wealthy, well-respected London lawyer who's actually quite boring and reserved. Despite his dull nature, people are strangely fond of him. His walking companion, Mr. Enfield, is his distant relative and another respectable London gentleman.
Then there's Hyde - described simply as ugly and known for a shocking act: trampling a young girl. These contrasting characters set the stage for the story's exploration of appearances versus reality.
Utterson and Enfield share an interesting friendship. They have little in common and often walk long distances without speaking a word to each other. Yet strangely, these silent Sunday strolls are the highlight of their week.
