Major and Minor Scales
Ever wondered why some songs sound happy while others feel sad? The answer lies in scales! The C major scale (C D E F G A B C) creates that bright, cheerful sound you hear in many pop songs. In contrast, the C minor scale (C D E♭ F G A♭ B C) produces a more serious or melancholy feeling.
Rhythm refers to the pattern of sound durations in music. It's like the skeleton of a song, determining when notes are played and how long they last. Without rhythm, music would just be random sounds!
Tempo is simply the speed of the music. A fast tempo might make you want to dance, while a slow tempo might feel relaxing or dramatic. Tempo strongly affects how we perceive music and how much attention we give it.
Try This! Clap your hands to create different rhythms while counting "1-2-3-4" at various speeds (tempos). Notice how changing the tempo completely transforms the feeling of the same rhythm!

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! Knowunity is the BEST app I’ve used in a minute. This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. I love it and my mom is just happy I got good grades

Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it.
