Kaj je biologija?
Biologija je naravoslovna veda o življenju. Beseda prihaja iz grščine: bios pomeni življenje, logos pa veda. Torej, dobesedno se prevaja kot "veda o življenju".
Ta veda ti pomaga razumeti, kako delujejo rastline, živali, glive in mikroorganizmi. Biologi raziskujejo vse od tega, kako dihaš, do tega, zakaj imaš enake oči kot tvoji starši.
Organizem je ime za vsako živo bitje. Lahko je sestavljen iz ene same celice (kot bakterija) ali iz milijard celic (kot ti). Celica je osnovni gradnik vsega živega – to si zapomni, ker je to ena najpomembnejših stvari v biologiji!
💡 Dobro je vedeti: Vse žive stvari rastejo, se razmnožujejo, se prehranjujejo in reagirajo na okolje. Nežive stvari (kot kamen ali miza) tega ne počnejo.
Kaj vse preučuje biologija?
Biologija ni samo ena veda – razdeli se na več panog, ker je življenje tako raznoliko. Vsaka panoga se osredotoča na nekaj drugega.
Botanika preučuje rastline – od majhnih mahov do velikih dreves. Zoologija se ukvarja z živalmi, od mravljic do slonov. Mikrobiologija raziskuje drobne organizme, ki jih lahko vidiš le z mikroskopom.
Ekologija preučuje, kako so živa bitja povezana med seboj in z okoljem. Genetika razlaga, zakaj si podoben svojim staršem. Antropologija pa se osredotoča na človeka.
💡 Za test si zapomni: Vedeti moraš definicijo biologije in vsaj tri panoge z njihovimi opisi. Botanika = rastline, zoologija = živali, ekologija = odnosi v naravi.
Kako biologi delajo?
Biologi niso samo ljudje v belih plaščih, ki gledajo skozi mikroskop. Delajo tudi na terenu, v naravi!
Zoologinja lahko raziskuje človeško ribico v Postojnski jami. Z infrardečo kamero opazuje, kako se ta zanimiva žival znajde v popolni temi. Ugotovi, da ima odličen voh in zazna električna polja drugih živali.
Ekolog na travniku določi kvadratni meter zemlje in prešteje vse rastline ter žuželke. Tako odkrije, kako pomembne so čebele za opraševanje cvetov.
Mikrobiolog v laboratoriju preverja, ali jogurt res vsebuje koristne bakterije. Bakterije goji na posebnem gojišču in jih opazuje pod mikroskopom.
💡 Pomembno: Biologi uporabljajo znanstvene metode – opazovanje, primerjanje in poskuse (eksperimente).
Zakaj je biologija pomembna?
Biologija je temeljna naravoslovna veda, kar pomeni, da je osnova za druge vede. Brez nje ne bi imeli medicine, ki zdravi bolezni, ali kmetijstva, ki prideluje hrano.
Razumevanje biologije ti pomaga skrbeti za svoje zdravje, varovanje narave in razumeti, zakaj so nekatera živa bitja ogrožena. Ko razumeš, kako delujejo celice, lažje razumeš, zakaj moraš jesti zdravo.
Ta veda ti tudi razloži, zakaj se moraš cepiti proti boleznim, kako nastane otrok in zakaj je pomembno, da varujemo gozdove in oceane.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
