Understanding Reading Comprehension
Reading comprehension is more than just reading words—it's about understanding what those words mean together. Before you start reading, take a quick look at headings and pictures to get an idea of what's coming.
When you read, be active! Ask yourself questions like "What might happen next?" or "Why did the character do that?" Connect what you're reading to things you already know. This helps your brain make sense of new information.
Try highlighting important parts or writing notes in the margins. For long readings, break them into smaller chunks so you don't feel overwhelmed. After finishing a section, summarize the main points in your own words to make sure you understand.
Pro Tip: If you find yourself confused while reading, it's okay to stop and go back! Good readers often reread sections they don't understand right away.

Deeper Reading Skills
Making connections between the text and your own life makes reading more meaningful. Ask yourself, "Have I ever felt like this character?" or "Does this remind me of something in the real world?" These text-to-self connections help you remember what you read.
Don't just accept everything you read! Think about the author's point of view and whether you agree. Is there evidence for their claims? This critical reading helps you form your own opinions.
Try reading different types of materials—stories, articles, poems, and more. Each type helps you develop different reading muscles. And don't rush! Complex texts sometimes need to be read more than once to fully understand.
Remember: The more you read, the better you'll get at understanding what you read. It's like exercise for your brain!

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
