Uvod v kompleksna števila
Predstavljaj si, da poskušaš rešiti enačbo x² = -1. V realnih številih to ni mogoče, ker nobeno realno število, kvadrirano, ne da negativnega rezultata. Tu priskočijo na pomoč kompleksna števila - pametna razširitev realnih števil, ki reši ta problem.
Imaginarna enota (i) je temelj vsega. Definirana je preprosto: i² = -1, torej i = √(-1). To pomeni, da lahko končno rešiš enačbe, ki jih prej ni bilo mogoče rešiti.
Kompleksno število ima obliko z = a + bi, kjer sta a in b realni števili. Realni del je Re(z) = a, imaginarni del pa Im(z) = b. Pazi - imaginarni del je samo b, ne bi!
Pomembno: Množica realnih števil je podmnožica kompleksnih. Vsako realno število a lahko zapišeš kot a + 0i.
Potence imaginarne enote
Tukaj postane zanimivo! Potence števila i se obnašajo v ciklih, kar moraš obvladati za teste. Poglejmo si vzorec:
i¹ = i, i² = -1, i³ = -i, i⁴ = 1, i⁵ = i... Vrednosti se ponavljajo na vsakih 4 korakov! To pomeni, da za izračun i^n enostavno deliš n s 4 in pogledaš ostanek.
Primer: Izračunaj i²⁷. Ker je 27 ÷ 4 = 6 z ostankom 3, je i²⁷ = i³ = -i. Tako preprosto!
Oblike kompleksnih števil so različne. Če je b = 0, dobiš realno število. Če je a = 0 in b ≠ 0, dobiš čisto imaginarno število. Sicer pa imaš splošno kompleksno število.
Nasvet: Zapomni si cikel i, -1, -i, 1 - to ti prihrani ogromno časa pri računanju!
Kompleksna (Gaussova) ravnina
Tu se matematika spremeni v umetnost! Ker ima vsako kompleksno število z = a + bi dva dela, ga lahko predstaviš kot točko v koordinatnem sistemu.
Realna os prikazuje realni del a, imaginarna os pa imaginarni del b. Vsako število z = a + bi postane točka s koordinatami (a, b).
To je izjemno uporabno - kompleksna števila lahko "vidiš" in z njimi geometrično razmišljaš. Če imaš z₁ = -4 + 7i, poiščeš točko (-4, 7). Če imaš z₂ = 12, je to točka (12, 0) na realni osi.
Zanimivost: Ta ravnina se imenuje tudi Gaussova ravnina po velikem matematiku Carlu Friedrichu Gaussu.
Praktični primeri
Poglejmo si konkretne naloge, ki jih boš srečal na testih. Določanje realnega in imaginarnega dela je osnova - za z₁ = -4 + 7i je Re(z₁) = -4 in Im(z₁) = 7.
Risanje v kompleksni ravnini deluje preprosto. Število 12 narišeš na koordinate (12, 0), število -i pa na (0, -1).
Računanje potenc obvladaš z deljenjem. Za i¹⁰² deliš 102 s 4, dobiš ostanek 2, torej i¹⁰² = i² = -1. Enostavno!
Pomembna pravila: Dva kompleksna števila sta enaki, če imata enak realni in imaginarni del. Torej a + bi = c + di pomeni a = c in b = d.
Nasvet za teste: Pozor na imaginarni del - to je samo b, ne bi. Ta napaka stane ogromno točk!
Hiter povzetek za ponavljanje
Kompleksna števila niso tako zapletena, kot se zdijo na prvi pogled! Zapomni si te ključne točke za uspeh na testih.
