Physics is all about how things move and why they... Show more

Speed tells us how fast something is moving. The formula is simple: speed = distance ÷ time. If you travel 50 miles in 2 hours, your speed is 25 mph!
There are two types of speed to know about. Instantaneous speed is how fast you're going at any exact moment (what your speedometer shows), while average speed is calculated over your entire journey.
Graphs can tell us a lot about speed too. When looking at a distance-time graph, the slope of the line gives us the speed or velocity. The steeper the line, the faster the object is moving!
Pro Tip: Velocity is different from speed because it includes direction. If a car is going 30 m/s backward, its velocity would be -30 m/s. The negative sign shows direction!

Have you ever wondered what happens when you bake cookies? That's a chemical change - a process where substances combine or break apart to form completely new substances with different properties.
In chemical changes, we start with reactants (the original substances) and end up with products (the new substances created). The atoms and molecules rearrange themselves into new combinations during this process.
This is different from a physical change, where something might look different (like water freezing into ice) but is still the same substance chemically.
Fun Fact: Chemical bonds form when atoms share or transfer electrons. This is how completely different substances (like the explosive sodium and toxic chlorine) can combine to make something we use every day (table salt)!

Sir Isaac Newton figured out three amazing laws that explain how everything moves! These laws help us understand everything from kicking a soccer ball to launching rockets.
Newton's First Law is about inertia - objects like to stay how they are. If something is sitting still, it will stay still unless a force acts on it. If it's moving, it'll keep moving the same way unless something stops or changes it.
Newton's Second Law gives us the formula F = ma . This means heavier objects need more force to accelerate the same amount as lighter objects.
Newton's Third Law tells us that forces come in pairs - for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. When you jump, you push down on the ground, and the ground pushes up on you!

Your physics test will cover all the key concepts we've learned about motion, forces, and Newton's laws. The test will include multiple choice questions, true/false statements, and physics problems.
You'll need to know important terms like motion (change in position), reference point (what you compare to determine if something is moving), and force (a push or pull). Also remember friction (the force between surfaces that rub together) and gravity (the force pulling objects toward each other).
For calculations, be prepared to work with speed (distance per unit time), velocity (speed with direction), and acceleration (how quickly velocity changes). The formula F = ma will be essential!
Test Tip: Practice using distance-time graphs! Remember that the slope of the line gives you the speed, and changes in the slope show acceleration.

Inertia is an object's resistance to changes in its motion. The more mass something has, the more inertia it has - that's why moving a bowling ball is harder than moving a ping pong ball!
Weight is different from mass - it's actually the measure of gravity's force on an object. Your weight would be different on the moon, but your mass stays the same!
Newton's Laws are essential to understand for your test. Remember: the First Law is about objects staying at rest or in motion unless acted on by forces; the Second Law gives us F = ma; and the Third Law explains that forces always come in equal and opposite pairs.
Remember This: Every time you push something, that object pushes back on you with equal force in the opposite direction. That's why your hand hurts when you punch a wall - the wall "punches" back!

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.

This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! In the end I think it’s worth it 😊👍 ⚠️Also DID I MENTION ITS FREEE YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING AND STILL GET YOUR GRADES IN PERFECTLY❗️❗️⚠️

Knowunity is the BEST app I’ve used in a minute. This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. I love it and my mom is just happy I got good grades

Not only did it help me find the answer but it also showed me alternative ways to solve it. I was horrible in math and science but now I have an a in both subjects. Thanks for the help🤍🤍

I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend
