Splošen pregled in ključni pojmi
Naš jezik se je rodil iz praslovanščine - skupnega prednika vseh slovanskih jezikov, ki se je govoril do 6./7. stoletja. Čeprav nimamo ohranjenih zapisov, jezikoslovci to staro govorico rekonstruirajo s primerjalnimi metodami.
Prvi dokaz obstoja slovenščine so Brižinski spomeniki iz leta 1000 - tri verska besedila, zapisana v latinici. To so najstarejši ohranjeni zapisi v slovenščini in sploh prvič, ko je bil kateri koli slovanski jezik zapisan v latinskem črkopisu!
V 16. stoletju je nastala prva knjigogovorica - začetna oblika našega knjižnega jezika. Primož Trubar jo je utemeljil na dolenjskem govoru, ki ga poznaš iz ljubljanske okolice. Za pisanje je Adam Bohorič standardiziral bohoričico, posebno pisavo, ki se je uporabljala kar tri stoletja.
Ključno za razumevanje: Vsaka od teh stopenj je bila prelomnica - brez Brižinskih spomenikov ne bi imeli dokazov o zgodnji slovenščini, brez reformatorjev pa sploh ne bi imeli knjižnega jezika.
Prazgodovina in prvi zapisi (do 10. stoletja)
Po naselitvi prednikov Slovencev v Vzhodne Alpe v 6. stoletju se je jezik začel razvijati ločeno od drugih slovanskih jezikov. Največji zaklad tega obdobja so Brižinski spomeniki iz leta 1000.
Ti trije spomeniki so pravzaprav obrazci spovedi in pridiga o grehu, zapisani v karolinški minuskuli. Jezik je še zelo arhaičen - ohranja dvojino (posebno obliko za dve osebi ali predmeta) in nima še polglasnika, ki ga danes poznamo.
Zakaj so tako pomembni? Prvič, dokazujejo, da je slovenščina že takrat obstajala kot razvit jezik. Drugič, so prvi zapis slovanskega jezika v latinici nasploh - torej zgodovinski mejnik za vse Slovane.
Zanimivost: Besede iz Brižinskih spomenikov so včasih komaj prepoznavne - namesto "Bog" so pisali "buge", namesto "reče" pa "reka".
Reformacija - rojstvo knjižnega jezika (16. stoletje)
Tu se zgodba zares začne! Tri osebnosti so postavile temelje slovenskega knjižnega jezika, ki ga uporabljaš danes.
Primož Trubar je leta 1550 izdal Katekizem in Abecednik - prvi slovenski tiskani knjigi. Za osnovo je vzel ljubljanski govor in postal "oče slovenskega knjižnega jezika". Jurij Dalmatin je 1583 prevedel celotno Sveto pismo in s tem dokazal, da slovenščina zmore izraziti tudi najzahtevnejše vsebine.
Adam Bohorič je 1584 napisal prvo slovensko slovnico "Arcticae horulae succisivae" (Zimske urice) in sistemsko določil bohoričico - pisavo, ki se je uporabljala do srede 19. stoletja.
Brez reformacije bi danes verjetno govoril nemščino ali italijanščino. Protestanti so namreč verjeli, da mora vsak brati Biblijo v svojem jeziku - zato so razvili slovensko pismenstvo.
Ključna časovnica: 1550 Trubarjev Katekizem → 1583 Dalmatinova Biblija → 1584 Bohoričeva slovnica. Ta tri dela so temelj vsega!
Od protireformacije do razsvetljenstva
Razvoj se je v 17. stoletju upočasnil - jezik se je uporabljal predvsem v cerkvi. Pomemben je bil le Janez Svetokriški s pridigami, vendar se med pokrajinami jezik ni poenotil.
Konec 18. stoletja pa se je zgodil preporod! Marko Pohlin je s "Kranjsko gramatiko" (1768) poskušal "očistiti" jezik germanizmov, čeprav je ustvaril veliko neposrečenih besed. Žiga Zois je bil mecen, ki je podpiral slovenske razumnike.
Valentin Vodnik je postal prvi pravi slovenski pesnik z "Pesmimi za pokušino" in izdajal prve slovenske novice. Najbolj pa je štel Jernej Kopitar z znanstveno slovnico iz 1808, ki je bila daleč pred časom.
Kopitar je zagovarjal ključno tezo: knjižni jezik mora temeljiti na ljudskem jeziku, ne na umetnih konstruktih. Ta ideja je oblikovala celotni nadaljnji razvoj slovenščine.
Kopitarjeva modrost: "Jezik mora biti preprost in ljudski" - ta načelo velja še danes, ko se slovenščina bori z anglicizmi in nepotrebnimi tujkami.
Romantika in dokončna standardizacija (19. stoletje)
- stoletje je prineslo črkarski pravdi - veliki spor o pisavi. Bohoričica je bila nepopolna (en znak za dva glasova), zato so iskali nadomestilo. Kopitar je podpiral metelčico, na Štajerskem dajnčico, a sta bili obe prezapleteni.
Leta 1845 se je uveljavila gajica - prirejena hrvaška pisava, ki jo uporabljamo še danes. Spor je rešila skupina okoli Bleiweisovih "Kmetijskih in rokodelskih novic".
Še pomembnejši je bil spor o usmeritvi jezika. Kopitar je hotel preprost, ljudski jezik, France Prešeren in Matija Čop pa sta zagovarjala razvit jezik, sposoben za visoko umetnost. Njun pogled je zmagal - zato lahko danes slovenščina izraža vse od poezije do znanosti.
Ta odločitev je bila ključna. Če bi zmagal Kopitar, bi imeli morda preveč poenostavljen jezik, ki ne bi zmogel sodobnih izzivov.
Prešernova zmaga: Zahvaljujoč Prešernu in Čopu slovenščina ni ostala le "kmetijski jezik", ampak je postala polnovreden kulturni jezik.

I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
