Macromolecules: The Building Blocks of Life
Living organisms are primarily composed of just six elements, with carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen being the most abundant. These elements combine to form macromolecules—large molecules that are often polymers made up of smaller repeating units called monomers. For example, a peptide is simply a chain of amino acid monomers linked together.
The four major groups of macromolecules are lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids. Each plays unique roles in maintaining life. Lipids form cell membranes and can be saturated or unsaturated, with phospholipids containing both water-loving (polar) and water-avoiding regions. Carbohydrates serve as energy sources and structural components.
Proteins are perhaps the most versatile macromolecules, functioning in cellular structure, energy production, and virtually all cellular functions. Their specific three-dimensional structure determines their function. Meanwhile, nucleic acids store genetic information, with ATP (a variation of adenosine) serving as cellular energy currency and other nucleotides participating in cell signaling pathways.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
