Uvod v kemijske formule
Predstavljaj si kemijske formule kot krajšave, ki ti povejo zgodbo o tem, kateri atomi so povezani skupaj. Kemijska formula ti z uporabo simbolov in indeksov natanko pove, iz česa je sestavljena snov.
Simbol elementa najdeš v periodnem sistemu - to je črkovna oznaka (H za vodik, O za kisik). Indeks je tista majhna številčka desno spodaj, ki ti pove, koliko atomov imaš od posameznega elementa. Če je atom samo eden, indeksa 1 ne pišeš.
Oksidacijsko število je kot navidezni naboj atoma v spojini. To ti pomaga pri pisanju pravilnih formul, ker moraš uravnotežiti pozitivne in negativne naboje.
💡 Pomni: V H₂O imaš 2 atoma vodika (indeks 2) in 1 atom kisika (indeks ni zapisan, ker je 1).
Binarne ionske spojine
Tukaj imaš kovino in nekovino, ki se povežeta. Kovina postane kation (pozitivno nabit), nekovina pa anion (negativno nabit).
Za pisanje formul uporabiš križno pravilo: oksidacijsko število enega elementa postane indeks drugega. Spojina mora biti navzven nevtralna - vsota pozitivnih nabojev mora biti enaka vsoti negativnih.
Pri poimenovanju najprej poveš ime kovine v rodilniku, nato ime nekovine s končnico -id (kisik → oksid, klor → klorid). Če ima kovina lahko več oksidacijskih števil, dodaš rimsko številko v oklepaj.
⚡ Primer: Al₂O₃ - aluminijev oksid. Al ima o.š. +3, O ima -2. Potrebuješ 2 Al (+6) in 3 O (-6), da je nevtralno.
Večatomski ioni in njihove spojine
Večatomski ioni so skupinske kot ena enota z določenim nabojem. Te si moraš zapomniti: NH₄⁺ (amonijev), OH⁻ (hidroksidni), NO₃⁻ (nitratni), CO₃²⁻ (karbonatni), SO₄²⁻ (sulfatni), PO₄³⁻ (fosfatni).
Pravila za pisanje so enaka kot pri binarnih spojinah, samo da namesto posameznega atoma uporabiš cel ion. Kritično: če potrebuješ več večatomskih ionov, jih moraš dati v oklepaj!
Ca(NO₃)₂ je pravilno - kalcijev nitrat. Potrebuješ 1 Ca²⁺ in 2 NO₃⁻, da uravnotežiš naboje.
🔥 Pozor: CaNO₃₂ bi bilo napačno! Oklepaj je obvezen, kadar imaš več večatomskih ionov.
Kovalentne spojine
Pri kovalentnih spojinah si atomi delijo elektrone. Tukaj ne govoriš o nabojih, ampak o številu atomov z grškimi števniki.
Grški števniki: mono- (1), di- (2), tri- (3), tetra- (4), penta- (5), heksa- (6). Prvi element poimenuješ z njegovim imenom , drugi element pa s končnico -id in vedno z grškimi števniki.
CO₂ = ogljikov dioksid, N₂O₄ = didušikov tetraoksid, PCl₅ = fosforjev pentaklorid. To je popolnoma drugačen sistem kot pri ionskih spojinah!
📝 Pasti: CO₂ ni "ogljikov oksid", ampak "ogljikov dioksid". Grški števniki so obvezni!
Kisline in baze
Kisline ponavadi začnejo z vodikom. Binarne kisline poimenuješ: ime nekovine + "vodikova kislina". HCl = klorovodikova kislina.
Tercialne kisline imajo posebna imena: H₂SO₄ = žveplova kislina, HNO₃ = dušikova kislina, H₂CO₃ = ogljikova kislina.
Baze vsebujejo hidroksidni ion (OH⁻) in jih poimenuješ kot ionske spojine. NaOH = natrijev hidroksid, Ca(OH)₂ = kalcijev hidroksid.
💧 Prepoznavanje: Če vidišv formuli H na začetku, je verjetno kislina. Če vidiš OH, je verjetno baza.
Rešeni primeri za boljše razumevanje
Poskusimo z železov (III) sulfid: Fe ima o.š. +3, S ima o.š. -2. S križnim pravilom dobiš Fe₂S₃. Preveriš: 2×(+3) + 3×(-2) = 0 ✓
Za PbO₂ moraš določiti o.š. svinca: ker je kisik -2 in imaš 2 atoma (-4), mora biti svinec +4. Ime: svinčev (IV) oksid.
Pri amonijevem sulfatu imaš NH₄⁺ (+1) in SO₄²⁻ (-2). Potrebuješ 2 amonijeva iona za 1 sulfatni: (NH₄)₂SO₄.
✅ Vedno preveri: Ali je spojina električno nevtralna? To je tvoj glavni test za pravilnost formule.
Ključni nasveti za uspeh
Za ionske spojine uporabljaj oksidacijska števila in križno pravilo. Ime: kovina + nekovina z -id. Če ima kovina več možnih o.š., dodaj rimsko številko.
Za kovalentne spojine uporabljaj grške števnike za oba elementa. Drugi element vedno dobi -id končnico.
Pri večatomskih ionih pazij na oklepaje! Ca(OH)₂ je pravilno, CaOH₂ pa ne.
Nauči se na pamet pogosta oksidacijska števila in formule večatomskih ionov - to ti bo prihranilo ogromno časa pri testih.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! In the end I think it’s worth it 😊👍 ⚠️Also DID I MENTION ITS FREEE YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING AND STILL GET YOUR GRADES IN PERFECTLY❗️❗️⚠️

Knowunity is the BEST app I’ve used in a minute. This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. I love it and my mom is just happy I got good grades

The app's just great! All I have to do is enter the topic in the search bar and I get the response real fast. I don't have to watch 10 YouTube videos to understand something, so I'm saving my time. Highly recommended!

I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
