Review of the American Revolution
Ever wonder how the United States was born? It all started with the American Revolution, a war between Great Britain and thirteen American colonies that lasted from 1775 to 1783.
This wasn't just any war - it completely changed the course of history! The colonies broke away from British rule and formed an independent nation called the United States of America.
Fun Fact: The American Revolution was the first successful colonial independence movement against a European power!
Causes of the Revolution
Imagine paying taxes but having no say in how they're used - that's exactly what fired up the colonists! They rallied behind the famous cry "No taxation without representation" to protest unfair British taxes.
The British government wasn't making friends with policies like the Quartering Act (forcing colonists to house British soldiers) and the Intolerable Acts (punishing Massachusetts after the Boston Tea Party). Colonists felt their rights were being trampled and their local governments undermined.
Big ideas were spreading too! Enlightenment thinkers like John Locke and Thomas Paine promoted concepts of liberty, equality, and natural rights that made colonists question British authority.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!!
