Protireformacija in posledice verskih vojn

Uvod in ključni pojmi protireformacije
Ko se je reformacija razširila po Evropi, je Katoliška cerkev izgubila ogromno vernikov in vpliva. Protireformacija je bil njen odgovor na to krizo - poskušala je ustaviti širjenje protestantizma in prenoviti Cerkev od znotraj.
Tridentinski koncil (1545-1563) je bil najpomembnejši cerkveni zbor tega časa, ki se je sestal v mestu Trident. Tam so sprejeli ključne odločitve za preobrazbo Cerkve.
Jezuiti so bili novi cerkveni red, ki ga je ustanovil Ignacij Lojolski. Bili so kot "papeževa vojska" - izobraženi, disciplinirani in odločeni širiti katoliško vero preko šol in misijonov. Inkvizicija je preganjala vse krivoverce, medtem ko je Indeks prepovedanih knjig preprečeval branje protestantskih del.
Preberi in zapomni si: Ta gibanja so vodila v verske vojne, ki so v 16. in 17. stoletju opustošile velik del Evrope.
Notranja obnova Cerkve in novi cerkveni redovi
Tridentinski koncil je bil prelomnica - Cerkev je priznala nekatere napake in se odločila za temeljite spremembe. Potrdili so papeževo avtoriteto in vseh sedem zakramentov, prepovedali prodajo odpustkov (glavni Lutrov očitek!) ter zahtevali boljšo izobrazbo duhovnikov.
Jezuiti so postali najpomembnejši orodji protireformacije. Njihov ustanovitelj Ignacij Lojolski je bil nekdanji španski vojak z geslom "Vse v večjo božjo slavo". Ustanavljali so kakovostne gimnazije in univerze, potovali kot misionarji po svetu in postali svetovalci na dvorih vladarjev.
Inkvizicija je bila ponovno oživljena za zatiranje protestantizma. Uporabljala je mučenje za pridobivanje priznanj, medtem ko je Indeks prepovedanih knjig preprečeval širjenje "nevarnih" idej.
Zanimivost: Duhovniki so morali začeti voditi matične knjige o rojstvih, porokah in smrtih - danes so to pomembni viri za zgodovinarje!
Barok in verske vojne
Cerkev je za privabljanje vernikov uporabila tudi umetnost - razvil se je baročni slog. Razkošne cerkve, polne zlata, dramatičnih prizorov in močnih čustev, so na vernike naredile močan vtis in jim pokazale veličino Boga.
Verska nestrpnost je vodila v krvave verske vojne. V Franciji je Šentjernejska noč (1572) prinesla poboj tisoč protestantov v Parizu. Nizozemska se je v dolgotrajni vojni osvobodila katoliške Španije.
Najhujša je bila Tridesetletna vojna (1618-1648), ki je začela kot verski spor v nemškem cesarstvu. Začela se je s "praško defenestracijo", ko so češki protestanti vrgli cesarjeve odposlance skozi okno!
Pomembno za test: Vojna se je končala z Vestfalskim mirom (1648), ki je potrdil načelo "Čigar dežela, tega vera" in priznal kalvinizem.
Tridesetletna vojna - podrobnosti
Tridesetletna vojna je bila najbolj uničujoča vojna tega časa. Začela se je kot verski spor, a postala politična bitka za prevlado v Evropi. Vključile so se Švedska, Francija in Danska, čeprav je katoliška Francija celo podprla protestante proti Habsburžanom!
Vojna je imela več faz - na začetku so zmagovali katoliki, pozneje pa protestantske sile. Opustošenje je bilo grozljivo: umrla je skoraj tretjina prebivalstva nemških dežel, vladala sta lakota in bolezni.
Vestfalski mir (1648) je prinesel ključne spremembe: potrdil je versko svobodo iz Augsburškega miru, priznal kalvinizem poleg katolištva in luteranstva ter oslabil moč cesarja v nemškem cesarstvu.
Zapomni si: Nizozemska in Švica sta postali mednarodno priznani kot neodvisni državi, knezi pa so dobili več samostojnosti.
Protireformacija na Slovenskem
Na slovenskem ozemlju so protireformacijo vodili Habsburžani, ki so bili gorljivi katoliki. Ustanovili so verske komisije, ki so sistematično uničevale protestantizem - izganjale pridigarje, sežigale knjige (tudi Trubarjeve!) in rušile protestantske cerkve.
Ljudje so se morali vrniti h katoliški veri ali se izseliti. Večina je ostala, zato je slovensko ozemlje spet postalo katoliško. Prekmurje je bilo izjema - ker je bilo pod Ogrsko, kjer je bila večja verska svoboda, je protestantizem tam preživel.
Posledice so bile hude za slovensko kulturo: razvoj slovenskega jezika in književnosti je za skoraj 200 let zastal. To je bil velik korak nazaj po Trubarjevem in Dalmatinovih dosežkih.
Ključno dejstvo: Nekateri plemiči so se lahko obdržali pri protestantski veri, a niso smeli imeti javnih obredov.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend

Best app if you're in Highschool or Junior high. I have been using this app for 2 school years and it's the best, it's good if you don't have anyone to help you with school work.😋🩷🎀

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
