Uploads, flashcards and quizzes
- Open the upload or set.
- Open its settings.
- Turn Make public off.
Private content is only visible to you. It is removed from search and from your public profile. You can make it public again at any time. A public upload must be private before you can edit it.
Making content public again
When you turn Make public on, your content is sent for review. The switch stays on and shows In review, and the app says the content goes public once approved. Other students see it only after approval. Turning the switch off takes it back to a draft. See Uploading study notes and what happens after.
Folders
Folders you create are private by default. They only become visible to others when you share them.
Your whole profile
There is no setting that hides the whole account. Your username and any public uploads are visible to other students. To stay private, keep uploads private and choose a username that does not contain your real name. See Who can see my profile and my school?
Your school
Set who can see your school under Account settings, School privacy.
Remove content about me
If someone uploaded content that contains your personal data, report the upload. See How do I report content or a user?
